On a quest to make the Town of Tecumseh known as having an abundance of
health and wellness professionals, services, and products – as well as being
one of the healthiest cities in the Windsor-Essex area – the Town of Tecumseh
Business Improvement Area (TOTBIA) is hosting its first Health & Wellness
Fair on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Held in the north and south
sides of Lakewood Park (at the corner of Manning Rd. and Riverside Dr. E.).
The TOTBIA FALL Into Health Day is a FREE event where people can PARTICIPATE. We connect our community to the top health and wellness vendors, exhibits, expert speakers on various health, wellness & lifestyle related topics, live demonstrations, various food vendors, physical activities and demonstrations, fitness fashions, beauty products, alternative therapies, plus so much more – all in one day!
The event is for all ages
within the Windsor/Essex County and the objectives of the health fair are to:
• increase health awareness
by providing, activities, materials, demonstrations, and information;
• increase awareness of
local, provincial, and national health services and resources;
• motivate participants to
make positive health behavior changes;
• teach self-care practices;
• showcase health and
wellness services and products available in the Town of Tecumseh and encourage
residents from Windsor/Essex to come to Tecumseh for all their health and
wellness needs.
