Could your family’s’ Asthma or COPD be hereditary? Portions
of the proceeds from Saddle Up will go towards helping organ transplant
recipients and the A-1 Kids Program to support affected children, their parents
and families deal with Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Wear your cowboy gear and support men, women
and children suffering from this often debilitating rare disease with no known
cure and often resulting in liver or lung transplants.
The event begins at 5:30 pm on Saturday August 16th outdoors
at the Riverside Sportsman’s Club, 10835 Riverside Drive East, Windsor, ON.

About Alpha-1 Canada
Alpha-1 Canada’s mission is to provide information,
education and support to Canadians affected by Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency;
inform and educate the medical community about Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency;
and generate broad awareness about this genetic liver, lung and skin disease.

benefit the Canadian Alpha-1 Community especially with respect to reimbursement
for treatment.
