Spring into Action this season with KidSport Windsor
and provide the Gift of Sport to local area under-resourced children by
participating in the first annual Gift of Sport Walk-A-Thon.
This event
will be held on Victoria Day (Monday, May 19, 2014) at the Riverfront Festival
Place from 11 a.m. -to 2 p.m.
Family,
Friends and Caring Individuals will band together to raise funds to ensure that
all kids have the opportunity to play organized sports!
Event Details
Walkers will
meet at Assumption Park and warm-up with In Motion at 10:15 a.m. The walk will
then begin at 10:30 a.m. en route to Riverfront Festival Place. FREE parking will be available on-site.
Live
Entertainment, Food and Children’s Activities will be in abundance and FREE to the public!!!
100% of all
funds raised will help children play organized sports.
We hope to
see you on this special occasion, which will be celebrated with the City of
Windsor’s 122nd birthday during the Mayor’s Walk!
